  • Acrylic About Acrylic Acrylic is an extremely versatile substrate with a glossy finish. It is the perfect product for achieving a sophisticated, high-tech look. Acrylic is a plastic product that can be heated to conform to many different shapes. Its versatility allows you to design boxes, holders for brochures or a sign and easel all in one. Acrylic is also known by the brand name Plexiglas?. It is an excellent product when you want a high-quality finish. A three-dimensional effect (giving the perception of depth to the finished product) can be achieved by using clear acrylic and applying the background color to the reverse side. Note: Acrylic signs may be subject to glare problems, but many of our centers stock a non-glare acrylic (check with your local center for availability). Acrylic is best suited for long-term indoor or short-term outdoor use where protected by an overhang or awning (this does not include when acrylic is used in light box signs). ________________________________________ Sizes Acrylic is available a variety of lengths, widths and thicknesses and is typically stocked in 4' x 8' sheets.
