  • The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has proposed the use of Virkon disinfectant to fight the bird flu virus (H5N1) in view of the increasing number of people being infected. Good for household, school, office and public areas disinfection. Since the start of 2007, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department of the HK government had confirmed H5N1 in 13 birds found dead. An AFCD spokesman reminded the public to observe good personal hygiene.
