    • Description

  • This is what we would like to produce as economical as possible. Product can be fiberglass, fiberglass reinforced plastic, hand layed fiberglass or plastic mold injection or preferably recycled plastic. It is very important to have a class "a" fire rating and be ultra violet stable in the sun. The product will be used in the sun and the rain, however only the 5 inch horizontal top will be exposed. Color is not important, but we like nuetral colors and color terracotta is good. The prototype in the picture is two layers of chopped mat fiberglass with uv-stable and fire retardant resins. The color is a gel-coat with uv-stabilizer with a rustic texture. The product weighs 5 lbs. Per unit. If it could be lighter that would be good. The thickness is 1/8 inch to keep it light weight and inexpensive. Product should be able to weather 50 to 100 years.
