Though E-6000 has a very high tensile strength, it also remains extremely flexible, even when used underwater. This elasticity makes E-6000 ideal when used as an adhesive or sealant between surfaces with dissimilar expansion coefficients. Quite possibly, it is the only adhesive and sealant known to man that will bond to all these different porous and non-porous substrates: metal, wood, plastic, tile, glass, fiberglass, concrete, brick, rubber, canvas, leather, vinyl and fabric.
